Juan Rhoades, ANP-BC
Juan Rhoades is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years in healthcare, specializing in orthopedics, spine care, trauma, and critical care medicine. He completed his nursing degree at Northern Michigan University and earned his Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Oakland University.
Throughout his career, Juan has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing excellent care across diverse healthcare settings. At Bay Street Orthopedics and Spine, he assisted in complex spine surgeries, cared for patients in the clinic, and successfully developed an Osteoporosis and Bone Health program. At McLaren Hospital, Juan played a pivotal role in achieving level 2 trauma center designation as the lead Physician Extender on the trauma team. Additionally, he helped launch their Tele-Neurology Program while managing complex trauma cases and coordinating care teams.
Juan now returns to Legacy Medical Group, where he previously excelled in delivering individualized care for adult and geriatric patients. He is passionate about partnering with patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals, ensuring every individual receives personalized, high-quality care.
Outside of medicine, Juan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His love for the outdoors fuels his hobbies, including mountain biking and coaching youth ski and lacrosse teams. These activities bring fresh energy and enthusiasm to both his medical practice and family life.
